“Covid 19 or Corona Virus” these words bring shivers down our spine now a days and will continue to do so until completely extinct, which is still a long journey.

All humans are under lockdown, complete or partial, and the living conditions have changed drastically. We cannot step out of the house freely or go and meet people. All we have to do is stay at home, which a few years ago would have been an easy job to do.Peaceful hassle free life. But now we realize how difficult it is to do a simple thing like this.

This is the first lesson I have learnt from Covid 19: Value your Freedom as you don’t know when and how it might be taken away from you. We now feel like the caged animals in the zoo, as if we are living their lives. But the difference is, we do have better living facilities. We have all our essential,non-essentials items, gadgets etc. Having all these we are still bored to the core and frustrated beyond measure. Hence thinking about those animals in the zoo, spending their whole lives in cage gives me nightmares and here is when I understand one more important thing which is along with our own freedom we should try and set the zoo animals free because they too have the right to have a happy and peaceful life.

Now coming back to the danger of this virus, the main and the most important lesson that it has taught us is valuing your life and living it to the fullest and also being healthy so a virus like this can be defeated by our immune system. The death rate is only 2 out of 100 but you don’t know if you are in the 2 or in the 98. Hence, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is the best advice anyone can be given at this moment. (Except, of course Social Distancing) Although living a healthy life shouldn’t be limited to only the disease. This is a habit we need to carry on throughout our life.

During such a time the whole world has panicked and there is chaos everywhere, so we need to maintain our calm and stay sound. There is Corona all over the news. These many people have died…these many recovered…some committed suicide fearing the same…some fled from the hospital due to the best reason known by them…and so on. Seeing all these news our mind is filled with more stress and tension.

Hence we need to focus on few positive aspects of same:

· Earth is Healing.

· Pollution is less.

· River water getting clear.

· Liberated Wild life.

· Unity and Kindness can be seen around

· We are able to spend more time with our family and loved ones.

· We are able maintain a Healthy lifestyle and have home cooked food…No Junk.

· Regular workout at homes.

We need to keep our mind calm and not panic as panicking is even more harmful than the disease itself.

Another important thing that it teaches us is “LIFE IS UNPREDICTABLE” how much ever we try to plan things in our life, it always has its way to spoil our plan. Till few years ago, no one would have even imagined such an outbreak to take place. But now here we are, sitting in our houses. wishing that some genius scientist comes up with its vaccine and we can finally step out freely, eat at our favourite restaurants, watch movies in theatres, go to work, meet friends or just have a good walk in open air .Hence, we always have to be prepared for the worst scenario as those are the special guest in our lives who always come UNINVITED.

As a Student, I realised one more emptiness in my life, which makes to think to the core, that I miss my friends a lot. As they are one of the surrounding I spend my half of the day with physically, and then when I come back sometimes virtually. I am in 10th grade and this is going to be my last of school life and half of it is already going to be missed as per our current situation which is making me feel bad and sad. When you go to school on regular basis you dislike it (some of them). Same old routine, wake up early, listen to lectures, have fun in breaks etc. But you actually understand its importance when you can’t go back there. Missing all those little fun times. School Alarm bells, running behind the bus, talking in between the lectures, the best bell was the recess bell ,going to canteen .Alas .All these little happiness used to make our day ,and make me value the importance of my that surroundings either friends or teachers.Teachers at that time may be strict but I can’t forget the all the things they taught me and how much fun we had had in the lectures sometime. This has made me realise one more thing- VALUE ALL THE THINGS YOU HAVE. Kya pata, Kal Ho Na Ho

At times I feel like Saying THANK YOU to Corona. In a way it has been a Teacher to us. Teaching us the biggest lessons of our life. Hopefully this pandemic what we are facing should be the first and last one, but deep down we know that it is not. Human has evolved so much and with that it has invited a lot of dangers too, but challenges come and go. This life threat can be faced. We have being struggling with our lives all these days, so we need to face this one too. Although, I have to say that this is not the best way to learn lessons but I am sure we will and can sail through this rough sea. Although there are speculations that this is a Biological war from our very dear neighbouring friend but in this too we need to be sane and smart and be cordial with our fellow humans and not put others life at stake so Stay home Stay Safe.

Maintain Social Distance if need to go out

Mother earth has given us so much and this is the time to payback. Let it rejuvenate. I am sure it will be back with a boom. Glowing and making us glow with a new Ray of Hope
